A big thank you to Mrs. Tierney's 3/4 kids for helping our class calculate the cost of "monster parts" to decorate our Valentine's bags! It was a great cooperative activity, and the older students were so helpful and patient. Each monster part had a price tag, and students were given a budget of play money to spend. It was a fun afternoon! 😊❤️

Readers are Leaders!

Every year our neighbour, Ms. Totter, knits hats and mittens for the kids to keep them warm during our cold, winter recesses. Students wrote a "Thank you!" card for her. We also read two different adaptations of The Mitten, and created a compare/contrast chart.
