Good morning, Rowe folks, this is Bill again with a slight change of schedule. Students will be released at 11:30 this morning, not 12:30 as I told you last night.
The bus for our students is also used to transport the Mohawk students who live in Rowe. I just heard from the bus company that Mohawk has scheduled their middle and high-school release for 12:50 today, and that means the bus wouldn't be available for our students until that run is over. That would have put our release at 1:50. We chose to release students at 11:30 instead, that felt wiser given the forecast. I'm sorry for giving you one time last night and a different time this morning. Breakfast will be served today, but lunch will NOT be served. If you typically pick up your student at dismissal, and they need to stay at the school until 12:30 based on plans you've already made, just call or email the school and we'll make sure they're taken care of until you can get there. And please call or email with any questions.

The snow's supposed to start late morning, so to make sure everyone can get home safe, we're going to have a 12:30 release tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25. I apologize for the late notice, but we wanted families to have time to plan. Breakfast and lunch will be served. We're still keeping an eye on Thursday's forecast, but with ice, snow, and then rain Wednesday night into Thursday, I wouldn't be surprised if we postponed skiing for a week, but we'll make that decision tomorrow. School will start at 10:30, breakfast will not be served, and students may be dropped off at the school after 9:45. Any IEP meetings scheduled for this morning will be rescheduled. See you soon.

Each year, a Basic Rights Workshop is offered to parents/guardians to gain more information about the IEP process for students with special needs. We are collaborating with neighboring districts to offer this workshop twice this school year, once in October and again in March.
North Adams will host a Basic Rights Workshop virtual workshop on Wednesday October 26 from 6-8pm. It will be facilitated by the Federation for Children with Special Needs. All NBSU parents are invited to attend.

Hello, Rowe School community. There will be paving happening tomorrow afternoon in the marked-off sections of our parking lot, likely after 2:00. It will not affect the drop-off or bus procedure, we just wanted everyone to know. Thanks to Lance and the Rowe DPW for helping make this happen.
